Kaleidoscope of Hope
is a non profit organization in Northern New Jersey, formed by ovarian cancer survivors to actively promote awareness, education and research of ovarian cancer. Each year, KOH sponsors several fund raising events to assist researchers and award grants. 2015 marks their 15th anniversary and is being celebrated on June 7th at a luncheon in Basking Ridge, NJ.
LoveQuilting.com volunteered to donate a quilt to be used in an auction for Kaleidoscope of Hope at a fund raiser luncheon. KOH promotes education and awareness of ovarian cancer, a cause near and dear to my heart.
Traditionally made with the dreaded inset “Y” seams, simplified in the modern world with half square triangles, this timeless quilt design has always been a favorite. With careful placement of light, medium and dark fabric values, the star gives the appearance of standing up right off the quilt.

To further personalize our donation, we included a Story Patch on the back of the quilt that contained a short video dedicating the quilt. Story Patches are a great way to include a personalized message, video or photo on your projects. Click here
